Add a server to the Telephony console

To add a server to the Telephony console

  1. Open Telephony.

  2. In the console tree, click Telephony.

  3. On the Action menu, click Add Computer.

  4. In the Select Computer dialog box, click Locations, and then click the domain where the server is located.

  5. In Enter the object name to select, enter the name of the telephony server to manage, and then click OK.

Notes

  • Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.

  • To open Telephony, click Start, click Run, and then type tapimgmt.msc.

  • The telephony server must be enabled on the computer you want to administer. For more information, see Related Topics.
