Description

Specifies whether pop-up error messages that appear when the system starts are suppressed. You can add NoPopUpsOnBoot to the registry to prevent Windows Server 2003 from displaying messages when no one is there to read them, such as computers that are configured to log on to Windows Server 2003 automatically.

This entry does not exist in the registry by default. You can add it by using the registry editor Regedit.exe.

Note

  • This entry does not suppress the message notifying the user that the domain controller cannot be contacted. To suppress that message, use ReportDC.
