Create an operation definition

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To create an operation definition

  1. Open Authorization Manager.

  2. In the console tree, right-click Authorization Manager, and then click Options.

  3. In the Options dialog box, click Developer mode, and then click OK.

  4. In the console tree, right-click Operation Definitions, and then click New Operation Definition.

  5. In the New Operation dialog box, in Name, type a name for the operation definition.

  6. In Description, type a description for the operation definition.

  7. In Operation number, type the specific number from 0 to 2147483647 that the application uses to identify the operation.

Notes

  • To open Authorization Manager, click Start, click Run, and then type: azman.msc

  • To perform this procedure, you must be working in developer mode. For more information about developer mode, see Related Topics.
