MacFile Server Object

The MacFile Server performance object consists of counters that provide information about a system running File Server for Macintosh.

Current Files Open |
Shows the number of internal files currently open in the MacFile server. This count does not include files opened on behalf of Macintosh clients. |

Current Paged Memory |
Shows the current amount of paged memory resources used by the MacFile server. |

Current Nonpaged Memory |
Shows the current amount of nonpaged memory resources used by the MacFile Server. |
|
Current Sessions |
Shows the number of sessions currently connected to the MacFile Server. This counter reports current server activity. |

Failed Logons |
Shows the number of failed attempts to log on to the MacFile server. These values can indicate that password-guessing programs are being used to undermine the security on the server. |

Max Nonpaged Memory |
Shows the maximum amount of nonpaged memory resources used by the MacFile Server. |
|
Max Paged Memory |
Shows the maximum amount of paged memory resources used by the MacFile Server. |

Maximum Files Open |
Shows the maximum number of internal files open at one time in the MacFile Server. This count does not include files opened on behalf of Macintosh clients. |

Maximum Sessions |
Shows the maximum number of sessions connected at one time to the MacFile Server. This counter indicates the level of usage of the server. |

Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which bytes were read from the disk. |

Data Written/sec |
Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which bytes were written to the disk. |

Data Received/sec |
Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which bytes were received from the network. This counter indicates how busy the server is. |

Data Transmitted/sec |
Shows the rate, in incidents per second, at which bytes were sent on the network. This counter indicates how busy the server is. |

Current Queue Length |
Shows the number of outstanding work items waiting to be processed. |

Maximum Queue Length |
Shows the maximum number of outstanding work items waiting at one time. |

Current Threads |
Shows the current number of threads used by the MacFile Server. This counter indicates how busy the server is. |

Maximum Threads |
Shows the maximum number of threads used by the MacFile Server. This counter indicates the peak usage level of the server. |
