Storrept reports delete

Deletes currently scheduled storage reports.

Note

To use this command, you must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group.

Important

This command does not delete a task from the system; it only deletes the storage reports associated with the task. If you want to delete the task also, use the schtasks /delete command. For more information, see Schtasks, and the examples in this topic.

Syntax

storrept reports delete /task:<TaskName> [/quiet] [/remote:<ComputerName>]

Parameters

Parameter

Description

/task:<TaskName>

Specifies the name of the task with which the reports that will be deleted are associated.

/quiet

Deletes the storage reports without warning. By default, you are prompted to confirm deletion.

/remote:<ComputerName>

Performs the operation on the remote computer ComputerName.

Remarks

  • The shortest sequence of characters that uniquely identifies a parameter can be used as an abbreviation. For example, the following two commands are equivalent:

    storrept r d /q 
storrept reports delete /quiet

  • To perform operations on a remote computer by using the **/remote:**ComputerName parameter:

    • You must be logged on with a domain account that is a member of the Administrators group on both the local computer and the remote computer.

    • The remote computer must be running Windows Server 2008, and File Server Resource Manager must be installed.

    • The Remote File Server Resource Manager Management exception on the remote computer must be enabled. You enable this exception by using Windows Firewall in Control Panel.

Examples

  • To delete all reports that are associated with the FSRMReport task that is scheduled on the local computer, type:

    storrept reports delete /task:fsrmreport

    If you also want to delete the FSRMReport task from the system, type:

    schtasks /delete /tn fsrmreport

  • To delete all reports that are associated with the FSRMReport task that is scheduled on the remote computer FILESERVER1, type:

    storrept reports delete /task:fsrmreport /remote:fileserver1

    If you also want to delete the FSRMReport task from the remote system, type:

    schtasks /delete /tn fsrmreport /s fileserver1
