Using the Server Management Taskpads

Server Management provides several taskpads that you can use to configure the features of Windows SBS.

  • The Information Center taskpad provides links to information that is specific to Windows SBS. For more information, see Information Center.
  • You must activate Windows SBS and ensure that it is installed on no more than the limited number of computers (usually one) that is allowed in the End User License Agreement. For more information, see Activate Your Server.
  • You can use the Manage Server Computers taskpad in Server Management to manage additional servers in your Windows SBS network. For more information, see Manage Server Computers.
  • You can use the Manage Client Computers taskpad in Server Management to manage client computers that are connected to the Windows SBS network. For more information, see Manage Client Computers.
  • You can use the Configure Existing Computers taskpad in Server Management to assign applications to existing client computers. For more information, see Configure Existing Computers.
  • You can use the Migrate Server Settings taskpad in Server Management to export settings from one computer that is running Windows SBS and import them to another. For more information, see Migrate Server Settings.
