Managing User Templates

Templates make it easy to create user accounts by providing default properties and settings based on user type.

  • Windows SBS includes user templates that you can use to standardize common user properties. For more information, see Managing user templates.
  • You can use the Manage Templates taskpad in Server Management to work with user templates. For more information, see Manage User Templates.
  • You can export templates from one computer (the source computer) and import them to another (the target computer). For more information, see Migrating user templates.
