Although there is no direct replacement for this Exchange 2000 Server tool and documentation, for help in correctly sizing your servers, we would like to recommend the following supported tools:
Load Simulator 2003 (LoadSim). This benchmarking tool simulates the performance load of MAPI clients, which enables you to test how a server that is running Exchange Server 2003 responds to e-mail messaging loads.
Jetstress. Verify the performance and stability of your disk subsystem before putting the server into a production environment with this tool that simulates disk I/O load on a test server running Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange 2000 Server.
Microsoft Exchange User Monitor. Gather real-time data to better understand current client usage patterns and to plan for future work. Applies to Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange 2000 Server.
