Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1) provides the latest updates to ISA Server. ISA Server SP1 includes fixes to provide an even higher level of reliability and stability. Microsoft strongly encourages ISA Server customers to install SP1 on all computers running ISA Server.

Installing ISA Server SP1

  1. If the ISA Server computer is running Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or later must be installed.

  2. Download ISA Server SP1 to your local computer.

  3. Read the ISA Server SP1 Release Notes.

  4. Run the ISA Server SP1 executable file to begin the installation. In the ISA Server SP1 End-User License Agreement (EULA), click I Agree to accept the licensing terms and proceed with the installation.

When the installation finishes, the computer running ISA Server will restart. After restarting, ISA Server SP1 installation is finished.
