Disable Management for a TS Gateway Server

You can use this procedure to stop managing a TS Gateway server. To specify a different TS Gateway server to manage (or to manage the same TS Gateway server again at a later time), see Specify a TS Gateway Server to Manage.

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, on the TS Gateway server that you plan to configure, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at Local and Domain Default Groups (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477).

To disable management for a TS Gateway server

  1. Open TS Gateway Manager.

  2. In the console tree, click to select the node that represents the TS Gateway server for which you want to disable management.

  3. Right-click the TS Gateway server, and then click Do not manage this server.

  4. A message will appear, prompting you to confirm whether you want to stop managing the specified TS Gateway server. To confirm, click Yes.
