Navigate to a Site in IIS Manager (IIS 7)
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista
Server administrators and non-administrators can configure settings for sites in IIS Manager. Non-administrators must be granted permission to a site and provided with logon details by a server administrator. Then the user can provide credentials to connect to the site, and configure settings for that site and any applications within that site.
|Server administrators have access to all sites and applications on the Web server.|
Open IIS Manager. For information about opening IIS Manager, see Open IIS Manager (IIS 7).
In the Connections pane:
If you are a server administrator, expand the Sites node and click a site in the tree.
If you are non-administrator who has permission to connect to a site, use the tools in the Connections pane to connect to the site that you want to manage. Then click the site in the tree.
- If you are a server administrator, expand the Sites node and click a site in the tree.
In Features View, on the SiteHome page, double-click a feature to configure that feature for the site.
