Using the UDDI Data Export Wizard

The UDDI Data Export Wizard guides you through the process of exporting the details of Providers or tModels that are hosted in a Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) site to an XML file.

Requirements

A UDDI data export has the following requirements:

  • You must know the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the UDDI site from which you want to export.

  • The UDDI site from which you want to export must support UDDI Inquire messages.

  • You must have the Query privilege on the site where the data entities will be exported.

  • The UDDI site from which you want to export must support the UDDI 3.0 application programming interface (API).

  • You must be a member of the UDDI Services Administrators group to import data into a site.

  • For effective use of the wizard, we recommend that you have an understanding of the basic UDDI data structures.
