Delete a server from the Telephony console

To delete a server from the Telephony console

  1. Open Telephony.

  2. In the console tree, click the server you want to remove.

    Where?

    • Telephony/server
  3. On the Action menu, click Delete.

Notes

  • Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.

  • To open Telephony, click Start, click Run, and then type tapimgmt.msc.

  • This procedure removes the server from the Telephony console. It does not disable it or prevent it from being used by telephony clients. For the procedure to disable a telephony server, click Related Topics.
