WSRM Process Matching Criteria Object

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

The WSRM process-matching criteria performance object, installed with Windows System Resource Manager (WSRM), consists of counters that monitor the CPU usage and memory usage of the processes matched by the process-matching criteria. The criteria are included in the managing resource-allocation policy. Each object will have as many instances as the number of process-matching criteria within the current active policy.

Counter Name Description Counter Type

Actual Managed CPU %

The percentage of total managed CPU cycles that have been used by this process-matching criterion. A process-matching criterion is the mechanism in WSRM that matches running processes to a resource-allocation policy.

PERF_RAW_FRACTION

Managed CPU %

The percentage of managed CPU cycles used by this process-matching criterion between the last process samplings.

PERF_SAMPLE_FRACTION

Page File (MB)

The total size of page files used by this process.

PERF_COUNTER_RAWCOUNT

Process Count

The number of processes associated with this process-matching criterion.

PERF_COUNTER_RAWCOUNT

Target Managed CPU %

The percentage of total managed CPU cycles allocated to this process-matching criterion.

PERF_RAW_FRACTION

Working Set (MB)

The total size of the set of memory pages used by the threads of this process.
