Print Management in the Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 R2 operating system provides a single interface that administrators can use to perform printer and print server management tasks efficiently with detailed control. You can use Print Management from any computer running Windows Server 2003 R2, and you can manage all network printers on print servers running Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, or Windows Server 2003 R2.

Use Print Management to perform the following tasks:

• Add printers to the local print server automatically

• Add and remove print servers

• Create a new printer filter

• Perform printer management tasks

• View extended features for your printer

• Deploy printers by using Group Policy
