Description
Specifies whether the system writes an error to the System Log in Event Viewer when Windows Server 2003 terminates abnormally.
This entry stores the setting of the Write an event to the system log check box in System in Control Panel.

Change Method
To change the value of this entry, use System in Control Panel. Click the Advanced tab, then click Startup and Recovery. When the Write an event to the system log box is selected, the value of this entry is 1.
Activation Method
You must restart Windows to make changes to this entry effective.
