Remove ADAM

To remove ADAM

  1. Open Add or Remove Programs from Control Panel.

  2. Click Add/Remove Windows Components.

  3. Click Active Directory Services under Components, and then click Details.

  4. Clear the Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) check box under Sub Components of Active Directory Services, and then click Next.

Notes

  • To open Add or Remove Programs, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.

  • You can sort programs in Add or Remove Programs by selecting different options in Sort by.

  • You might be prompted to restart the computer after removing Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM). If you choose not to restart the computer, future installations of ADAM might fail.

  • It is not possible to remove ADAM if there is an ADAM instance running on the computer.
