Change redial settings

To change redial settings

  1. Open HyperTerminal.

  2. Open a saved connection file or create a new connection. However, do not dial the connection. Instead click Cancel when the Connect dialog box is displayed.

  3. On the File menu, click Properties and click the Connect To tab.

  4. Select or clear the Redial on busy check box depending on what you want to do.

Notes

  • Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.

  • To open HyperTerminal, click Start, point to All programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click HyperTerminal.
