WWW Performance Counter Events

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1

This topic lists the events that are generated by the part of the World Wide Web Publishing Service (WWW service) that monitors and records performance counter data.

Note

When messages appear in the event log or Web browser, the symbols that appear below (such as |, %s, %X, %1, %2, %2!.20s!, and so on) are replaced with details about the error at the time that the error actually occurs.

Event ID Description

2000

Unable to query the W3SVC (HTTP) service performance data. The error code returned by the service is data DWORD 0.

2001

It has taken too long to refresh the W3SVC counters, the stale counters are being used instead.

2002

Setting up Web Service counters failed, please make sure your Web Service counters are registered correctly.

2003

It has taken too long to refresh the W3SVC counters, the stale counters are being used instead. This is the second message within the past %1 (hours, minutes, seconds).
