Turn email notification on or off

You can specify whether to send an email to a user when an issue has been assigned to that user and when the issue has been modified.
On the top link bar, click Documents and Lists .
Click the issues list for which you want to turn email notification on or off.
Click Modify settings and columns on the left side bar.
Under General Settings , click Change general settings .
To turn on email notification
Click Yes for Email Notification .
To turn off email notification
Click No for Email Notification .
Click OK .
