To identify members of a local group using the Windows interface

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, click Groups .

    Where?

    • Computer Management/System Tools/Local Users and Groups/Groups
  3. Right-click the group in which you want to identify members, and then click Properties .

Additional considerations

  • You do not need administrative credentials to perform this procedure.

To identify members of a local group by using a command line

  1. Open Command Prompt.

  2. To list members of the Backup Operators group, type:

    net localgroup" Backup Operators "

    You must include the quotation marks.
