Filter Accounting Data After Grouping

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is required to complete this procedure.

To filter accounting data after grouping

  1. Open Windows System Resource Manager.

  2. In the navigation tree, right-click Accounting, and then click Filter View.

  3. In Configure Accounting View Filter, click Filter After Grouping.

Note

You cannot select Filter After Grouping until you have used Group Items to group accounting data.

  1. In Define criteria, in the Column name box, select the accounting column that you want to filter.

  2. In Condition, select the matching condition.

  3. In Value, type the value that you want to match.

  4. In And/Or, select the logical value.

  5. To add the criteria that you have specified, click Add to list.

  6. After creating one or more filters, click OK to filter the accounting data.

Additional considerations

  • To open Windows System Resource Manager, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Windows System Resource Manager. In the Connect to Computer dialog box, select This computer, and then click Connect. Microsoft Management Console will start with the Windows System Resource Manager (Local) snap-in open.

  • In Configure Accounting View Filter, you can click Save View to save the current accounting view configuration for later use. Then, you can use Load View to load a previously saved configuration, or Reset View to reset the configuration to the default.
