Description

Lists the name of the alternative environment used when the Safe mode with Command Prompt option is selected.

Change Method

To start Windows Server 2003 in safe mode, restart the computer, and then press F8 when you see the message Please select the operating system to start.

Caution

  • Changing the value of this entry can prevent Windows Server 2003 from starting.
