Print performance data

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To print performance data

  1. Open Performance.

  2. Press ALT+PRINT SCREEN to copy a view of the active window.

  3. To open Paint, click Start, point to All programs, point to Accessories, and then click Paint.

  4. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

    If prompted with the alert message "The image in the Clipboard is larger than the bitmap. Would you like the bitmap enlarged?", click Yes.

  5. On the File menu, click Print.

Notes

  • Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.

  • To open Performance, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Performance.

  • For the best quality prints, choose one of the following options:

    • Add the System Monitor control to a Microsoft Office application such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel and print from that program.

    • Save the System Monitor control data as an HTML file and print it from Internet Explorer or another program using Save As.

    • Import a log file in comma-separated (.csv) or tab-separated (.tsv) format into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and print from that application.
