Delete triggers and rules for triggers

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To delete triggers and rules for triggers

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, click Triggers or Rules, whichever is applicable.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing/Triggers/Triggers (or Rules)
  3. In the details pane, right-click the applicable trigger or rule, and then click Delete. Alternatively, you can click the applicable trigger or rule, and then press the DELETE key.

Notes

  • To open Computer Management, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.

  • All triggers and rules for triggers created on the local computer are displayed in the Computer Management snap-in.

  • To detach rules from a trigger without deleting them, right-click the applicable trigger in the details pane, and then click Properties. Click the Attached Rules tab, and then select each rule that you want to detach and click Detach. For more information, see Related Topics.
