Downloading accessibility notes and utilities

If you have a modem or another type of network connection, you can view or download accessibility information from the following network services:

  • Accessibility information at the Microsoft Web site.

  • Microsoft Internet server at ftp.microsoft.com

    Open the /Softlib folder, and then use the readme or index files to learn about the site. In the index, search for words such as "customizing" and "disabilities." Choose a file and locate it in the /Softlib/Mslfiles folder. On your hard disk, create a folder, then run the file you chose from its current location. Follow the instructions to uncompress the file into the folder you created.
