Change background, chart, text, and font properties

To change background, chart, text, and font properties

  1. Open Performance.

  2. Right-click the System Monitor details pane and click Properties.

  3. Click the Appearance tab.

  4. To change the color elements, in Color, select the graph element for which you want to change the color. To change the color used for the selected graph element, click the Change button.

    Or, to change the font used for the text or numbers on your graph, in Font, click the Change button. In Font, set any font options you want. The options include Font, Font style, Size, and Script.

  5. The available elements in Color are:

    • Graph Background. The background color of the window area where counter data is charted.

    • Control Background. The background color that surrounds the window area where data is charted.

    • Text. The text color.

    • Grid. The color used for vertical and horizontal grid lines.

    • Time Bar. The color used for the timer bar.

  6. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Notes

  • Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.

  • To open Performance, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Performance.
