Create an application

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To create an application

  1. Open Authorization Manager.

  2. In the console tree, right-click Authorization Manager, and then click Options.

  3. In the Options dialog box, click Developer mode, and then click OK.

  4. In the console tree, right-click the authorization store for which you want to create an application, and then click New Application.

  5. In the New Application dialog box, in Name, type a name for the application.

  6. In Description, type a description for the application.

  7. (Optional) In Version information, type the application version information.

Notes

  • To open Authorization Manager, click Start, click Run, and then type: azman.msc

  • To perform this procedure, you need an authorization store. For more information, see Related Topics.
