Tasks New to IIS 6.0

If you upgrade from an earlier version of IIS, you need to learn the tasks that are new to IIS 6.0. This section introduces the following basic tasks that are new, or significantly different, in IIS 6.0:

Configuring Recycling: Describes how to periodically restart worker processes assigned to an application pool.
Backing Up and Restoring the Metabase Using Backup Files: Describes how to save metabase and application configurations.
Saving and Copying Site Configurations: Describes how to copy site configurations for use on new sites.
