The App Management subkey contains entries storing the Group Policy settings that determine how programs run. Group Policy creates and maintains the subkeys and entries in the Windows subkey, and the component that implements the subkeys and entries reads and interprets them.
Policy setting entries in the App Management subkey override default settings in the SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management subkeys.
