Planning for file server security is vital for protecting your organization’s sensitive or business-critical files. When planning for file server security, you need to protect not only the data but the physical server as well. In addition, if you plan to implement availability strategies, such as DFS or clustering, you need to take additional steps to secure the resources associated with these features.
