Importing UNIX Identities into Active Directory by Using IDMU

If your organization has an existing Network Information Service (NIS) domain environment, you can import your NIS users into Active Directory Domain Services by using the NIS Data Migration Wizard. The NIS Data Migration Wizard can be started from the Microsoft Identity Management for UNIX (IDMU) console or by using the nis2ad utility.
