Extend the functionality of Group Policy

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To extend the functionality of Group Policy

  1. Open Group Policy Object Editor as an MMC snap-in.

  2. On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.

  3. Click the Extensions tab, click the snap-ins that you want to extend, click the extensions that you want to add, and then click OK.

Notes

  • To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the Domain Administrators security group, the Enterprise Administrators security group, or the Group Policy Creator Owners security group.
