Creating an NFS client group

To create an NFS client group using the command line

  1. Open the command prompt.

  2. At the command prompt, type:

    nfsadmin server [ComputerName] creategroupGroupName

    Argument Description

    ComputerName

    The name of the computer you want to manage.

    GroupName

    The name of the group to create.

    Note

    To view the complete syntax for this command, at a command prompt, type: nfsadmin server /? You cannot give a group the same name as a client in the group.
