Deploying SCW

This topic discusses deploying SCW.

In addition to using Add or Remove Programs, there are two additional principal mechanisms for deploying SCW:

  • Microsoft Systems Management Server. Systems Management Server can be used to deploy SCW to multiple servers.

  • Unattended installation of SCW. Unattended installation of SCW is possible. See SCW Help for more information about unattended installation.

In addition to using SCW, you can use Group Policy to apply the security policies SCW creates to either a single server or multiple servers. To do this, you first create the policy by using SCW user interface, and then use the command-line tool to create a Group Policy-compatible version.
