Obtaining Certificates for Group Chat (2007 R2 Beta)

You must have a certificate issued by the same CA as the one used by Office Communications Server 2007 internal servers for each server running Lookup Server, Channel Server, Web Service, and Compliance Server. Obtain the required certificate or certificates before you start the Group Chat installation, especially if you are using an external CA.
You can use the procedures in this section to complete these steps by using an internal enterprise CA and Certificate Services.
