Description
Controls the rate at which the redirector backs off on failing, nonblocking, named pipe read operations.
This entry is used to prevent an errant application from overwhelming a server with nonblocking requests when there is no data available for the application. You can use the backoff statistics to optimize this entry to be more efficient for an application that uses nonblocking named pipes.
This entry does not affect applications, such as SQL Server applications, that do their own buffering.
