Applies To: Windows HPC Server 2008

In HPC Cluster Manager, you can print reports for your cluster, or save your reports by exporting them to Microsoft Office Excel (.xls) or Adobe Reader (.pdf) format.

For a table that can help you identify the reports that might be useful for your HPC cluster, see Understanding Charts and Reports. For more information about charts, reports, and other ways of monitoring your cluster, see "Additional references," later in this topic.

For information about using HPC Cluster Manager, see Overview of HPC Cluster Manager.

To print or save a report
  1. In Charts and Reports, either click Reports for an overview report summarizing important information from all the reports, or click one of the individual reports:

    • Node Availability

    • Job Resource Usage

    • Job Throughput

    • Job Turnaround

  2. If needed, filter the report. For more information, see View a Report. Be sure that in the views pane you click View Report after selecting your filter settings.

  3. To preview the report, in the views pane, on the toolbar for printing and saving, if the Print Layout button is not already selected, click it.

    noteNote
To view the label for a button on the toolbar, point to the button.

  4. To adjust the page layout, on the toolbar, click the Page Setup button, adjust the Paper, Orientation, and Margins, and then click OK.

  5. Print or save the report:

    • To print the report, on the toolbar, click the Print button, specify the print settings, and then click Print.

    • To save the report, on the toolbar, click the Export button, click either Excel or Acrobat (PDF) file, specify a file name and location, and then click Save.
