Occasionally, the version of Virtual Server that is installed on a host needs to be upgraded to be compatible with Virtual Machine Manager (VMM). You can verify the update status by using either of the following methods:
- In Hosts view, the Status value for the host will be Needs Attention, and if you click the host the Update Virtual Server action will be active in the Actions pane.
- If you double-click the host, and then click Status in the Host Properties dialog box, the Virtualization service version property will display the message Upgrade Available.
