Description
Specifies how many stack locations the Server service establishes for I/O Request Packets (IRPs).
It might be necessary to increase this number for certain transports or if you have many file system drivers installed on the system. Each stack uses 36 bytes of memory for each receive buffer (also known as a work item ).
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
