Description
Determines the UDP port that Message Queuing uses to ping servers. Message Queuing uses an internal ping algorithm to quickly determine the availability and configuration of a server.
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
This entry is used only when the value of UsePing is 1.
Caution
This value must be the same on all computers in the enterprise. Using different UPD ports can significantly increase the time it takes for Message Queuing to establish network connections.
