Description
Disables or enables the default LAN adapter route that is installed when you install Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP). If you disable the default route, you might need to configure static routes for hosts that are reached using a router other than the default gateway.

Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits it. PPTP users must add this entry for each interface that is not connected to the Internet.
