Explanation:
The network adapter for this client has not been leased an Internet Protocol (IP) address by the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server.
User Action:
Check the cabling and verify that the adapter is configured correctly, and then try again. If you continue to receive this message, contact your network administrator and verify that the DHCP server is operating normally and that all routers and gateways on the network are functioning properly. Also, verify that the DHCP client service is running on the workstation and that the DHCP server service is running on the DHCP server. If server, network, and services are running properly, try using the command ipconfig at the command prompt to release the current IP address and get a new IP address.
