Description
Determines how long an inactive connection can remain open. If a connection remains inactive longer than the value of this entry specifies, the connection is closed. Connections are considered to be inactive if they are not transferring NetBIOS session data, such as copying files, accessing network resources, or sending and receiving electronic mail.

Change method
To change the value of this entry, use the Auto Disconnect policy in Group Policy. (Computer Settings\Software Policies\Windows NT Remote Access)
Activation method
You must stop and restart Routing and Remote Access before changes to the value of this entry take effect.
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
