Specifies the directory where the backup copy of the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) client information database is stored. If you change the value of this entry, DHCP saves new backup copies in the new location, but it does not move existing backup copies of the database.
Store the backup file on a hard drive other than the one on which the database resides. This lets you recover the database even when the system drive fails. However, because DHCP Manager cannot access a network drive for database backup and recovery, you cannot store the backup file on a network drive.
