Copy a Job or Task

Applies To: Windows HPC Server 2008

To run a job again, either as-is, or with changes, you can make and submit a copy of the job. To copy a job, you must have administrative rights or be the submitting user. Copying a job allows you to run a finished job again, or to use the property settings of a previously submitted job as a pattern for a new job.

Similarly, within a single job, you can make a copy of a task. This allows you to efficiently create multiple tasks with similar properties.

For information about using HPC Cluster Manager, see Overview of HPC Cluster Manager.
