Description

Determines when the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service attempts to renew the lease on the IP address for this interface. If the attempt fails, DHCP tries again at the time specified by value of the T2 entry.

By default, the value of this entry equals half of the lease term, as stored in the value of the Lease entry. Also by default, the value of T2 equals 7/8 (87.5 percent) of the value of Lease.

Caution

This entry is created and maintained by the DHCP client service when the service is enabled. Do not change this value. If you do, you might not be able to contact the DHCP server.
