Explanation:
Not all record types can be assigned to each database file. For example, the XXX.XXX.in-addr.arpa file can only have NS, PTR, and TXT records assigned to it. A zone file can have all record types assigned to it.
User Action:
Open the specified file and delete the record type: 1. In Windows 2000 Explorer, go to the Systemroot\System32\Dns directory. 2. Double-click the specified file, and select Notepad to open it. 3. Delete the record type from the specified line. 4. Save and close the database file. 5. Stop and restart the DNS server service.
