The Source of Authority (SOA) record must be the first resource record assigned for all DNS database files.
User Action:
To edit the database file: 1. In Windows 2000 Explorer, go to the Systemroot\System32\Dns directory. 2. Double-click the specified file, and select Notepad to open it. 3. Delete the record type from the specified line. 4. Save and close the database file. 5. Stop and restart the DNS server service.
