Edit the text record in the specified file: 1. In Windows 2000 Explorer, go to the Systemroot\System32\Dns directory. 2. Double-click the specified file, and select Notepad to open it. 3. Edit the text record by decreasing the number of characters in the text string. 4. Save and close the database file. 5. Stop and restart the DNS server service.
